Pom Pom "BOO" Banner

When I ran across some candy corn colored pom poms in the fabric store, I knew I could make a cute Halloween banner reminiscent of January's Snowflake Banner. Something simple and easy and high enough up in the air that the kids can't reach it.

I'll ask your forgiveness ahead of time...this window is impossible to photograph because of the way the sunlight hits the addition. I had to use the dreaded flash...

I tried to use my Cricut machine to cut out the "BOO," but the blade was having issues and wouldn't cut all the way through my paper, so I had to use a gray marker (couldn't find a black one...what the heck?!) to trace out the letters.

Letters are clipped on with tiny candy corn clothes pins and I just tacked the ends up to the curtain rod with a safety pin!

My other Halloween decor consists of a tinsely black cat from last year's CVS line, and a cute Trick or Treat sign from JoAnn Fabric.

Candy-corn colored pom-pom fringe. Be still, my heart.

I am a candy corn fanatic. Really. It's embarrassing. I finally had to tell myself that I absolutely cannot buy one more bag of the stuff. I eat it by the cupful. Even when I've had too much, it calls to me--the siren song of candy corn.

Maybe it's candy crack corn. :)

You're doing good on the Halloween decor! Not so much here- I only have a giant spider that I found at Pier One. I did get James costume though:) - a pumpkin.

Love the Bootiful description. I skip halloween, my kids are grown, we get NO trick or treaters, but I have thoroughly enjoyed seeing all the cool stuff out in blog land.
