I {heart} Target, but the Dollar Spot near the entrance in every Target store holds a special place in my heart.
I don't know of any other Spot in the world that you can find such fabulousness: coloring books, tiny vases, headbands, place mats, ribbon, itty bitty cookbooks, junk to amuse your kids in the car, and so on.
My most recent acquisitions had me squealing in delight.
I snatched those tiny tea light lanterns up before any one else could lay claim on my property. Mine! I'll totally crunch your toes with my stilettos if you come between me and my Dollar Spot. Or at least give you a dirty look. Or say a bad word in my head. Or something.
Anyways, I think these will be so cute on the deck this summer. I see warm weather, hanging paper lanterns, a burlap runner, my natural woven platters, and these guys lighting up the food table.
I've been waiting for Rhoda to bring back her Thrifty Treasures party so I could share these with you. If you enjoy reading about amazing bargains, go check her blog party out.
{Have you found any Thrifty Treasures lately?}

I just love Target's Fab dollar bins. They are great for stocking stuffers and great for a little extra in a gift. Love the laterns. I don't have a Target near by but I will soon be going to school only a mile down the road from a Target. I can't wait!!
ReplyDeleteLove these! I just might have to take a trip to our local target today and see what I can find. Most of the time I stop at the dollar spot but the last two times I have been in the store I was in such a hurry I didn't stop and look, no telling what I missed out on ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks Amanda!
I love those!
ReplyDeleteLove those lanterns!

ReplyDeleteOh oh oh! I missed those...I feel a trip to Tarjay coming on! Happy weekend!...hugs...Debbie
ReplyDeleteWow, in the dollar section, no way! I am avoiding Target because when I go in just to buy toilet paper and toothpaste I end up spending $100.00 on who knows what. I might have to check it out though!
ReplyDeleteWhat a find! I'll have to be paying more attention to the dollar spot now!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! My Dollar Spot hasn't had those! If it weren't for this dang cold I have right now I'd hop on over there to see if they are there now.
ReplyDeleteThe Dollar Spot is the Best!! I am now going to obsessively stalk (even more than usual) the Dollar Bin until *hopefully* those appear in my Target ;)
ReplyDeleteThose are really cute. I love the Dollar Spot. You really wear Stilettos to Target? Wow, you're my hero!
ReplyDeleteThese are adorable. I love the Dollar Spot, too. But, I also have a tendency to bring home very adorable things that never get used. I'm trying to cut back on impulse purchases for that reason. =)
ReplyDeleteBut, now, I think I could use those lanterns.
I loooove the Dollar Spot! I found some tall decorative bottles there last week - I am going to wrap them in burlap or pretty fabric and stencil something on them. So fun!
ReplyDeleteLove those lanterns -- I haven't seen them. I will have to go to Target this week. Awesome!
XOXO
Jen

ReplyDeleteVery cute! It's supposed to be really warm by the end of the week. Maybe you can use yours for a cookout this weekend.
ReplyDeleteDo you know that I hardly ever go to Target? It's so far from my house and the traffic there is terrible. I'm really missing out on some good stuff!
Too bad you don't get commission for all of us that will be running by Target to get some of these this week!!! Those are adorable!

ReplyDeleteI head to the dollar spot first at Target, but haven't seen those. I love them. Hope to see some next time I'm at Target!
ReplyDeleteI'm going there to find these! I saw a really cool display at IKEA this summer with this sort of lantern and they were hung from clear line and clustered at different lengths. I've had that concept in my mind ever since, but couldn't spring 6-14 bucks per lantern!
ReplyDeleteI'm. so. jealous!!!

Linda
Hey girl - I saw those at my store and reluctantly passed them up. They were a steal for sure, though! I'll probably regret when I see all the cute things you do with them!
