Welcome back to Weekend Bloggy Reading, y'all!
It was nice to have a little Christmas break, but I'm ready to showcase some of my favorite posts from around Blogland this week, and I hope you're ready to share the best post from your blog too!
Here are some of my faves from this week:
~Kim from NewlyWoodwards wrote a great guest post about Hosting a Killer Brunch with some wonderful tips and recipe links.
~Gina noted that having clothes that fit well will make you feel so much better about yourself in her post Cluttering Before Cleaning: A Backwards Approach.
~Speaking of clutter and decluttering, Megan is hosting an awesome series on Organizing in the New Year over at Honey We're Home. I may or may not be (I totally am) guest posting over there soon with photo organization tips.
~Beckie cracked the code on How to Get Your Kids to Clean Up Their Toys. They oughta print this and distribute it to new moms in the hospital!
~It's not fair that Jen got all the good crafty skills. {wink} This week, she made an Interchangeable Bunting Wreath.
~Kate worked her makeover magic yet again and revealed a Bathroom Makeover.
~And moi?
This week, I mused about Bringing Back My Chick Flick Club, and on Tuesday I shared my new after-Christmas decluttering philosophy, When In Doubt, Throw it Out. Wednesday brought my musing on the benefits of having a Simplified Celebration, and I told you all about my 2011 Goals for My House on Thursday.
Time to link up your best post of the week to share! Let me know if you need help getting your link to appear.
Here's the button code if you'd prefer to use that instead of a link-back:
Party is open until 10 pm (ET) on Sunday night. Please leave me a comment with your link if you have trouble getting it to appear on the list. I will get it posted for you!
I'm off to start thinking about what I'd like to pick up on our jaunt to IKEA tomorrow. The girls and I are heading up with my friend Christy...this could get interesting!
{What are you up to this weekend?}

Hey Amanda--
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to see this party is back in swing! You're such a good hostess, and I like the way we can share any post we're proud of.
You've had a good first week of the new year, it seems. And you're going to IKEA tomorrow? Good for you! There's an IKEA in Charlotte, only about 2 hours away from me here in Durham, but I haven't ventured over there yet. Hope you have a great trip and a wonderful weekend.
You can tell where my mind is today (well, most days!): I got stuck on the photos of Kim's brunch casserole and your cake!
ReplyDeleteI tried to link up but now don't see the linky at all. I think I broke it. :( In any case, this is the post I was trying to link:

ReplyDeleteHave fun at IKEA! One of the best little gadgets they have are the Bevara bag clips...very handy.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the heads up on these! I'm totally heading over to check out the ones on organization, and getting kids to clean up!
ReplyDeleteI too wish I had an IKEA near, nope =(. Tried linking up but it just keeps looping back without it there.
ReplyDeleteThank you so mmuch for featuring our brunch post. That just made my night! You are too sweet.

ReplyDeleteI always enjoy your parties.
ReplyDeleteKate's post made me wish I had an 80's builders bath to remodel.
Not sure if mine posted or not, can't see any of the links now no matter how many times I reload. :(
