Crafty Girls Workshop

You all have followed me through some of my fledgling sewing projects like my Embellished Burlap Table Runner. You know I can sew a straight line, and anything after that is just luck and some wishful thinking. If you're a sewer or a crafty girl, you know how addicting it can be to have a creative hobby!

I was delighted when Anna contacted me because not only is this girl crafty, but she and her mother-in-law own Crafty Girls Workshop, a one-stop shop for the "busy craftista." What started as an Etsy shop in 2009, has grown into a thriving web store.

Busy ladies don't always have time to browse for everything they might need for a project. Crafty Girls Workshop is a lifesaver because they've done the hard work for you and offer suggestions to go along with patterns or fabrics to make the time spent on their site more efficient. They even do their best to share the back of patterns so you can put together your own supply list.

If you take the time to peruse the shop, you'll notice that Anna and Regina have taken care to provide a fair mix of styles. Whether you're hoping to find something soft and romantic, or funky and bright, these Crafty Girls have something to please varying tastes.
I like the fact that beginners are welcome at the Workshop. You can type "Beginner" in the store's search box, and several patterns for that skill level will pop up.

Best sellers for Crafty Girls Workshop include the children's boutique style clothing patterns. How cute is this Sassy Little Sisters Child's Apron?
I'm also loving...

The Snazzy Bag (I die!):

The Little Charmers Skirt and Jumper:
Happy Dreams Bedding Set:
And the fabulous mix of sewing books, magazines, and embellishements:
If you like to chat about crafts, you can also check out the Crafty Girls Workshop blog. You'll see that Anna and Regina want to foster a sense of community amongst their shoppers. They are on hand to answer your questions, and they understand what it's like to be a busy working woman or stay-at-home mom.

Anna says that customers who purchase from Crafty Girls Workshop "should feel that if we had a brick and mortar store that you could walk in any time and ask us a question and we’d help you with the answer because we’re interested in what you are doing and we enjoy helping people. (You can contact us through the Contact link on our website or through our blog.) In fact, we both used to teach kindergarten, and who is more helpful than your kindergarten teacher?"

I enjoyed my stroll through the workshop. Crafty Girls Workshop is offering Serenity Now readers a 10% discount if you enter the code MAY10 in the coupon box at checkout.

I don't know about you, but I'm ready to get my craft on...I just wish I had a workshop of my own!

  3. What a cool sponsor! I'd never heard of Crafty Girls Workshop, but I think this is an awesome idea. I love how she describes the way she wants customers to feel. I'm looking forward to checking out her site.

Once again, you've written a really interesting and informative post about one of your sponsors. You must work hard at these posts. Your sponsors are getting a LOT of bang for their bucks!

  5. I love that Snazzy Bag! So cute! I love the apron too. I think I could find the right fabrics and make some that were manly enough for my boys...maybe without the ruffle on the bottom!

I love to hear your feedback! Please feel free to leave comments...just don't send me spam asking me to buy stuff off your website! I've got three kids and no money to purchase your magic weight-loss pill or bust enhancement, or whatever else you might be selling. Thanks, and I look forward to hearing from you! :)
