Look Out, Hans Christian Anderson

Otherwise entitled "Amanda Learns to Use YouTube"

Please note that this is a cautionary tale with a tragic ending. You may want to have a box of tissues nearby.

This video could be an excellent teaching tool if you have small children who don't like to wash their hands. The fear tactic seems to be successful.

Natalie also tells a story of "the little girl who wouldn't brush her teeth," but I have yet to tape it. I asked her if her Mimi told her the story of "the little boy who didn't wash his hands," but she claims that this is an original work.

I think she could be an internet sensation with this repertoire of gentle stories with moral fortitude. I see a line of dolls, books on hygiene, and DVDs in her future.

Maybe she'll buy me a pony with her earnings....

Disclaimer: No children were harmed in the telling of this story. Any resemblance to characters real or imagined is entirely coincidental.

Oh, my God. I'm going to have my boys watch this and then I'll look at them and say, "SEE. I TOLD you."

(Actually, I've never said that to my boys but it's pretty darn funny and I'm at.my.wits.end. with them and their hand washing - or lack thereof)

First of all, what precious girls! I promise you, in a couple years you will watch this and say "oh my goodness, I can't believe they used to be so little!".
Secondly, that's a great story ;) I assume with that kind of conviction, she washes her hands every time!

HAHAHHA

THIS IS GREAT!!!

Am going to gather the family around for a viewing.

If only the TV writing I do was as simple.

'Once upon a time there was this ship it wasn't looking where it was going and everyone died. The end'

I love it! I'm going to show this to all my kids...before you start charging royalties!

Your girls are adorable...wish our girls could play together, they'd have almost as much fun as we would!

Hope you're having an awesome day!

This is awesome. And he died. The End. OMG, I was rolling! Indy is pretty fastidious about keeping his hands clean, but I may have him watch this anyway, just to really hammer it home. :)

Amanda-
what cuties. My problem is needing them to not wash their hands ALL day long. They have no germs to help their bodies fight or build an immune system-I go through about 10 hand towels a day in that bathroom-no kidding. Can she re-do that to the one who died from washing too much.
You still got a great deal on your tees by the way.
Do a tutorial on how to do a u-tube and let me know-please oh please do it tomorrow.
