All Gave Some, Some Gave All

{June 6, 1944}

D-Day

In honor of the soldiers who fought and died 65 years ago today, please take a moment and say a prayer of thanks for their courage and sacrifice. I think the world would be a different place today if not for the amazing acts of heroism (yes, heroism!) displayed by that great generation so many years ago. I hope that their example lives on today to inspire our nation to stand together to face the evil lurking about, waiting to destroy us.

  2. My sons learn heroism more through the history channel than through the lit they read today! Thanks for reminding us what today was about!

  7. Absolutely! I am in DC for a few days and we went to the WWII Memorial. There were so many vets there (many who stormed Normandy). We shook hands with as many as we could and thanked them for their service. They were all very sweet. I cannot imagine what it was like for them.

I love to hear your feedback! Please feel free to leave comments...just don't send me spam asking me to buy stuff off your website! I've got three kids and no money to purchase your magic weight-loss pill or bust enhancement, or whatever else you might be selling. Thanks, and I look forward to hearing from you! :)
