::Weekend Bloggy Reading:: With a Twist!

Happy Friday, lovelies! What do you have going on this weekend? T is taking the weekend off, and we're trying to think of something fun to do that doesn't involve being outside in 100 degree heat.

If you're new here, most Fridays I share a few of my favorite links from around Blogland that week. I hope you'll let me know which ones you enjoy!

I wanted to try something a little different this week for Weekend Bloggy Reading.

I'm going to share some links this week, but I'm going to give you a chance to link up your favorite post of this week from your blog too!

*All I ask is that you include my button (the code is below) or link back to me in your post. And please be sure to visit a few of the participants.*
Weekend Bloggy Reading

Without further ado, here are some of my favorite links of the week:

~Megan shared a tutorial to make a fabulous French Script Lampshade.

~Kim went to town with some gorgeous yellow for her Flowery Bags.

~Tanya has done it again with her Honeybun Cake. She says it's as addicting as crack. I guess I'm going to be a junkie. Sorry, mom.

~Laurel put together a precious Ruffle Church Bag.

~Holly (of Holly Mathis Interiors) shared her thoughts on Fresh Looks for Nurseries over at Nesting Place.

~The Dating Divas gave a great Smokey Eye Make-up Tutorial.

~Paula made her very own Plant Markers.

And me?
I shared about my Girls' Trip to Orlando for MOPS, hosted a fun Dishing It! party (open for new links until 10 tonight), and shared a "Sometimes I Swirl" Giveaway (come enter for a $20 gift certificate!).

{Now it's your turn!}
Let me know if you have trouble linking up, and I can help you. Don't forget to link back and take a minute to visit another blogger or two. I'll leave the list open until 10 pm (ET) on Saturday.

Happy Weekend!

  3. Okay, Amanda, I'm game! I wish I had some wonderful project to link up, but I haven't had a very productive week. Still, I'll link up my "Special Offer" post--who knows? Maybe it'll give someone a giggle!

Hope you have a wonderful weekend! Have you guys seen Inception? If you can get someone to watch the girls, you and T should see it!

  5. Oh Amanda! I love it!!! I always read your weekend bloggy reading suggestions. You have such great blogs to share with us. Thanks for letting us share our own personal favorites from our own blogs today. I am very excited about my "Encourage your Children" Linky Party today. Our kids need our encouragement especially as they get ready to face a new year of school. I am so excited about hearing everyone's ideas so that I can "steal" them! LOL

Hope you have a great weekend! Can't wait to read the posts you and everyone else is sharing here today!!!

    Blessings to you!!!

  8. How fun! Hmmm..it's been pretty quiet around my site this week, mostly housekeeping, a couple reviews and oh we just got back into town, so...Maybe next time I'll be able to join in the fun! Okay, we clearly both read Nesting Place, loved that post too, I've clicked on the Honeybun cake link first I must confess but looking forward to reading them all!

  11. I apologize if I double-posted - I tried twice to add my link and it doesn't seem to have worked. But I think this is a great idea and can't wait to see what others post

  12. Thanks so much for the shout-out, Amanda. You are so sweet. I hope you have a great weekend. I have a couples shower planned for tomorrow and it's supposed to rain. That's just lovely! ;) Wish me luck because my house sure isn't large enough for 25 people inside.

Enjoy your family weekend. It's not that often to hear that T has the weekend off.

  14. I love the ruffle church bag! What a great idea. Just checked out some of the links...love them! I'm taking a break from my usual romance genre to read an interesting non-fiction, spiritual book called "Sun of gOd:Discover the Self-Organizing Consciousness That Underlies Everything". It's easy-to-digest and provides thought-provoking insights into what it’s all about. I'm really enjoying it!

I love to hear your feedback! Please feel free to leave comments...just don't send me spam asking me to buy stuff off your website! I've got three kids and no money to purchase your magic weight-loss pill or bust enhancement, or whatever else you might be selling. Thanks, and I look forward to hearing from you! :)
