She chose my Tweets as the funniest and messaged me to say that HGTV would be sending me a prize pack. Never mind that she warned me the box would most likely contain a drink koozie with "HGTV" stamped on the front and maybe, if I was lucky, a magnet.
I feel that my story strongly parallels that of Ralphie Parker's father in my favorite movie, A Christmas Story. If you've never seen it, save it for Christmas. I didn't know if HGTV was sending me the "deed to a bowling alley" or maybe Candice Olson in a box, but I was very excited.
The box even said "Frageelee" on the front. I think that's Italian. (sorry for the poor video)
I was truly pleased that 1) The Nester thought I was funny and 2) that HGTV sent me anything at all. I will proudly sport that travel mug all around town!
I guess there are some people who just don't find joy in the little things....
On a side note, if you haven't had a chance to enter the awesome Shabby Chic Cottage Giveaway, please do. Gina has been so generous in offering one of her designer fabric pillows!
I am really hoping some of you will join me this week for the next Dishing It! party. You can find this month's topic right here. We're doing a little Summer Rewind this month.
So glad to be back! I hope to spend some time visiting around Blogland today when time permits.
