Home Again, Home Again, Jiggity Jig

I'm home, but my beloved hot rollers are not.

I left them upstairs in my aunt's house. In Houston.

I guess I can pick them up the next time I go back in another two and a half years.

I suppose they are right when they say "Don't Mess with Texas." If you try, Texas keeps your hot rollers.

I have all sorts of tales of the glamour and glitz of a Houston wedding, but I am in mourning for my hot rollers, and also I plan on linking up to Southern Fried Gal's super-fun new blog party later today. I love this one because there is an actual theme!

So you'll just have to wait for pictures of the flowers, and the cake, and the ice sculpture. Yes, I did just type ice sculpture.

Until later today, lovelies!

  2. Welcome home! You might just have to make a trip to the store today for replacement hot rollers. A girl has to do what a girl has to do!

  6. Hey Amanda!

I've just caught up on a week of your posts. . . sounds like it was quite a week!!

Did you ever discover what caused your face to swell? An allergic reaction to something? That must have been awful. But broken a/c is torture!! Hope you got that fixed.

And a Texas wedding. Oh, my gosh. Texas really is a whole other country, isn't it? Glad you're safely home. . . and so sorry about your hot rollers. I have to go buy a new flat iron. I took mine with me on my trip to Paris and two seconds plugged into the adaptor fried it. Ugh.

Looking forward to getting all caught up with you!

    Love you!

  7. Bummer - sorry to hear about your hot rollers. It's hard to replace hair stuff because it gets broken in.

Can't wait to have you over today - woot!

    Have a blessed week!

I love to hear your feedback! Please feel free to leave comments...just don't send me spam asking me to buy stuff off your website! I've got three kids and no money to purchase your magic weight-loss pill or bust enhancement, or whatever else you might be selling. Thanks, and I look forward to hearing from you! :)
