10 Ways to Organize DVDs {Organizing Tips and Tricks}

It's still January, so it's still "organizing season" in my mind. One thing I've noticed recently is that our DVD collection is a little out of control. My kids seem to own a copy of just about every kids' movie ever made. I hope to pare down some of the discs we don't watch or need...and reorganize the ones we keep. For today, here are some Organizing Tips on Ways to Organize DVDs.

Freezer Meal Recipes and Tips

One of tough things about recovering from a c-section when you have an older child/children in the home is coming up with something for dinner when all you really want to do is take a pain killer and fall asleep on the couch with your mouth hanging open. I hope to fill a decent portion of our small deep freezer with freezer meals before the baby arrives next month. To celebrate that lofty goal, I rounded up some Freezer Meal Recipes and Tips from around the web to share with you today!

10 Delicious Summer Cocktail Recipes

Summertime, relaxing on the deck with a magazine and a fruity drink. Something about being pregnant makes me see the grass as being greener on the other side when it comes to delicious, delicious alcohol. In other words, I have been salivating over gorgeous, summer cocktail photos in my Instagram feed and have not been able to partake, lest my child come out with three arms or something. I can "splurge" on lemonade or maybe the virgin version of these drinks. Meanwhile, you can enjoy!

Surviving the Summer with Kids

12:30 pm today marks the start of official summer vacation for us. In all honesty, I am completely terrified. My girls have been on a real mean streak to each other for the past week or so, and no amount of banishment from TV or the pool seems to do the trick. It inspires temporary remorse, which disappears the instant one's sister is spotted playing with a beloved toy. I refuse to spend the summer referring a mini version of cage fighting, so I hopped on my Pinterest boards yesterday to hunt for Summer Ideas for Kids

I think half the time boredom is the culprit in the fights that pop up, so hopefully these ideas will be helpful. Here are a few of my favorites:
