She chose my Tweets as the funniest and messaged me to say that HGTV would be sending me a prize pack. Never mind that she warned me the box would most likely contain a drink koozie with "HGTV" stamped on the front and maybe, if I was lucky, a magnet.
I feel that my story strongly parallels that of Ralphie Parker's father in my favorite movie, A Christmas Story. If you've never seen it, save it for Christmas. I didn't know if HGTV was sending me the "deed to a bowling alley" or maybe Candice Olson in a box, but I was very excited.
The box even said "Frageelee" on the front. I think that's Italian. (sorry for the poor video)
I was truly pleased that 1) The Nester thought I was funny and 2) that HGTV sent me anything at all. I will proudly sport that travel mug all around town!
I guess there are some people who just don't find joy in the little things....

Love your prizes! I'd be like HGTV overload - wearing the shirt, holding the mug, standing under the umbrella (even if it wasn't raining - it could be a parasol) while holding your ipod case and pretending to listen to music. How fun! I would be totally psyched!

We watch it all year long actually & when tbs shows the 24hour marathon on Christmas day, forget it. :-D LOVE all the fun goodies you got! Woohoo for free stuff! :-D How did you like the palms?
