Three Decorative Mason Jars

My friend Angie from The Country Chic Cottage is visiting the blog today. She has three adorable decorative mason jars to share with you. Mason jars are so trendy right now...use 'em for food, gifts, decor, storage, you name it. Keep reading to see how Angie dressed these guys up!

Hello all, Serenity Now readers! I am thrilled to be here filling in for Amanda during her maternity leave. My name is Angie, and I blog at The Country Chic Cottage and Crafts with Jars. You see, I love making mason jar crafts, so today's ideas on making decorative mason jars are no surprise. These jars are perfect for organizing in any room in your home. Grab a few simple supplies to make these fabulous jars.

The first is a poured paint mason jar. Just grab your jar and some craft paint.

Pour a little in the bottom and work it around the jar until there is a consistent coat on the inside of your jar.

Allow the jar to dry completely before using.

Next up is a fun multi-color mason jar.  Grab your glass paint markers for this great jar.

The triangles that are already in these jars make it easy to draw diamonds with your glass paint markers.  Allow to dry and bake according to the directions on the markers.

Now those two ideas were fairly simple but I have another even simpler idea for you today. Grab some washi tape and just wrap it around your jar for a decorative touch.

Now you can use these decorative mason jars to organize around your home. Use one or all three methods for some fabulous jar storage containers.

Thanks, Amanda, for letting me post here today.  Y'all come visit anytime over at The Country Chic Cottage or Crafts with Jars.

I love to hear your feedback! Please feel free to leave comments...just don't send me spam asking me to buy stuff off your website! I've got three kids and no money to purchase your magic weight-loss pill or bust enhancement, or whatever else you might be selling. Thanks, and I look forward to hearing from you! :)
