Ruffle Bottom

It's Day #11 of 27 Days of Thankful. Click the link to find out what's going on here every day in November until Thanksgiving Day.
I don't think there's much cuter than "ruffle bottoms" on little girls' clothes. I draw the line at wearing ruffle bottoms myself, but I do have a blast shopping for my youngest.

Watching Michaela Byrd, who just turned 22 months, hop and dance around the family room last night made me think about how lucky I am to have two little girls to dress up.

Maybe someday T will have a boy to play soccer with and watch football and do manly things. I promise I won't make him wear ruffle bottoms.

Today I am thankful for little girls' cutesy clothes.

{What are you thankful for today?} Seriously, y'all have to be thankful for something...I have over 200 Followers and I haven't seen many comments on these posts. Are you guys having a hard Thanksgiving season? Just wonderin'....

If you link up, please be sure to include a link to this post.

  7. I'm thankful for two things today. Our Veterans who have served and defended our country. And for my friend Amanda who reminds us to be thankful, and decorates her girls bottoms with ruffles, as all moms should.

  10. Little girls are so much fun, aren't they? I have one of each, and I can tell you that my son wasn't nearly as willing to wear those cute ruffle bottoms as my daughter was. ;-)

  11. I agree that there's nothing like a little girl with ruffles on her bottom. I especially love the diaper covers with the ruffles for babies.

I am thankful for the rain that we are receiving today. It has been so dry for so long and a rainy 2009has been just what we need to get the water levels back to where they should be.

  12. Hi Amanda--

Just wanted to tell you that I did a guest post for Edie from Life in Grace for her 12 Days of Handmade Christmas. I thought you might like to see what I made--it's fudge. Okay, that doesn't sound so special, but it's Mamie Eisenhower's fudge recipe. Really! I thought you might enjoy that. :)

  13. I agree with you on the ruffles! So cute!

I'm thankful today for good health. Spent part of the day today shopping for some items for my friend's mom's bedroom at the Alzheimer care unit that they just had to commit her to because they can no longer care for her at home. So very sad. Any day that you're healthy is a good day! Have a good night...

  14. I'm thankful for an interaction I had with one of my mall tenants today. I walked past him this morning and said my customary "good morning, how are you?", not really expecting a response from him. But he said, "Every morning I wake up, I'm so grateful to be alive." Wow - what a great reminder for me to count my blessings! :)

  17. Really? You don't wear ruffle bottoms? I totally do all the time. C'mon...any girl who can rock the skinny jean can certainly pull off the ruffle bottom!

I also LOVE having girls to dress up all cutesy! So far my oldest still indulges me SOME...but she is getting to "that age" :(

I love to hear your feedback! Please feel free to leave comments...just don't send me spam asking me to buy stuff off your website! I've got three kids and no money to purchase your magic weight-loss pill or bust enhancement, or whatever else you might be selling. Thanks, and I look forward to hearing from you! :)
