End of the Week Announcements

It's finally Friday! I'm not so sure why I am excited about Friday, except that I get an hour to myself to take a dance class at the gym this morning. And when I say "dance," I mean huffing and puffing in the back of the room, my eyes locked on the instructors, trying to keep up with the hip-hop. But I gotta keep up if my cousin Blair and I are going to appear on So You Think You Can Dance. This is a running joke between us that I will explain on one of my upcoming SYTYCD posts.

Speaking of Blair, my awesome cousin has his own awesome blog now. I guess I inspired him. Or something. Or maybe he read my stuff and was like, "Holy cow. I could write better posts after drinking 2 kegs and a couple of shots at an A&M frat party." Blair is, as you'll see by the URL of his blog, a "closet nerd." Most of us might consider a tall, buff athlete to be a big, stereotypical blockhead, but he's actually got some book learnin', y'all. Don't be afraid of the lab skeleton painting on the banner...he's majoring in some type of science that I am too daft to remember right now because it's actually Thursday night right now and Grey's Anatomy will be on soon.
Anyways, I like Blair's blog because he is smart, witty, and it reminds me a little bit of those long-ago (okay, not that long ago) crazy college years. Check him out! All he asks is that you do not (these are his words from a Facebook post) "laugh at him and crush his soul." Be nice. He's a new blogger.

In other news, (I feel like Dan Rather) the giveaway goodies that I won from Mom in High Heels arrived this week, and it was even better than I remembered! All kinds of neat German goodies! My favorite is the little German thermometer. Thank you so much, Mom in High Heels! I am hoarding the yummy stuff. Please go check out her blog if you have a chance. I love to read about her life in Germany! Look at all this great stuff!

Real German gummy bears! Das ist sehr gut!

I wonder what the temperature in Germany is?!

{Enjoy your weekend!}

  1. Yea! I'm so glad you got the package! Enjoy them! The temp in Germany today is cool. It was in the 40's, but is now in the mid 60's. Yesterday our high was 50 so we had to drag the jackets back out. Let me know what you think of the goodies when you try them.

  3. Fa is not expensive at all. A Euro or two, depending on how large a package you buy. It smells so good. Can you get it in the State? I didn't know.

I love to hear your feedback! Please feel free to leave comments...just don't send me spam asking me to buy stuff off your website! I've got three kids and no money to purchase your magic weight-loss pill or bust enhancement, or whatever else you might be selling. Thanks, and I look forward to hearing from you! :)
