It's the first year I'm not hosting and I think my grandmom's sausage stuffing is the one thing I will miss. Our recipe is a bit different than yours. <br />We do: <br />Saute 3 diced celery stalks and one small diced onion in butter until translucent. <br /><br />Cool and mix with 1.5 bags of bread crumbs. and 1 can of chicken stock. <br /><br />With your hands, mix in UNCOOKED hot Italian sausage and 1 egg. <br /><br />Spread in a baking dish and cover with aluminum foil.
