I'm so excited to be here today guest posting for one of my favorite bloggers on the planet! It's always such an honor to make a trip over here to Serenity Now from At The Picket Fence, to visit with all of you!

When Amanda asked me to guest post for her, while she's home snuggling with and enjoying the newest addition to their household, the first think I thought of was a fun Valentine's Day Project...and what's better than a Valentine's Day project? A DIY Valentine's Day Project you can give someone else!

It's so easy during Valentine's Day to get wrapped up in expensive gift giving. Now don't get me wrong, I love roses and perfume and jewelry as much as the next girl but I also love sweet, simple gifts as well and this is one that even the kid's can get in on.

Like this Love Mug that you can easily make yourself! It would make a perfect gift for a favorite teacher, coach or something fun to make for Mom or Dad!All you need is an inexpensive mug, paint pens and an oven!
Supplies:
White porcelain or ceramic mug (I purchased mine at the Dollar Tree)
 Red and Black Paint Pen

Directions:
Draw a fun design. I made this one of a sweet little "flying" heart and the word LOVE Decorate both sides if desired Place on cookie sheet in cool oven. Bring to 350 and bake for 20 minutes. Allow to cool in oven. Consider hand washing to maintain design.

I love to hear your feedback! Please feel free to leave comments...just don't send me spam asking me to buy stuff off your website! I've got three kids and no money to purchase your magic weight-loss pill or bust enhancement, or whatever else you might be selling. Thanks, and I look forward to hearing from you! :)
